Fresh out on 'Jungle Cakes records is 'Gold Dubs' 4 track 'Survival' EP. 'Gold Dubs' is no stranger to production and this EP does not disappoint. With a background in bassline and love for DnB, 'Gold Dubs' delivers years of knowledge in 4 tracks. Starting his Dj'ing at 14, he's played all over the world and his skills & genres seem to have no limits. Track 1, 'Survival' produced alongside 'kalum' and featuring 'Rider Shafique' hits hard on current affairs with riders unique style and ability to write lyrics like no other. Put over the top of a bouncing beat with warped subs and a good use of fx this is a perfect 1st track to get you going. Track 2 is called 'Infinity V4'. This take's you back with a real 90s vibe. The vocal samples and synths are placed within sharp subs and heavy percussions. Pop some Fx's in there for good measure and you get a track that you only wished went on for infinity. Track 3 is 'Bliss', And that's not just the title. The moving vocal effects are mixed perfectly over Spacey risers and futuristic basslines with clean crisp drums. Last but not 'Too Late' is track 4. Here 'Gold Dubs' shows us why he's a master of bassline. Warbled subs, vibrating basses and simple synths with some fantastic vocal samples, sends us out on a high wanting to press repeat for the next few hours.
