"Don't Leave Me This Way" is one of our favourite club songs. From the original Harold Melvin & The Bluenotes, through the incredible Thelma Houston to the Communards electro-80s masterpiece, it has been a dancefloor bomb that has touched millions. It works wonders even when sampled out of context (like in Flashmob's "Need In Me"). Despite all the classics, we wanted a version that brought the iconic vocal line up to date with a bang, so we enlisted one of our favourite electronic producers of today, Fab Massimo and teamed him up with Kevin McKay with a brief to create a version that would smash everywhere from an underground basement to the big stages at a festival. Have they delivered? Well, we think so. Their performance, featuring the brilliant vocals of T'Shan Williams, is big, bold and full of synthy goodness. We've seen this destroy our underground basement in London and can't wait to see it on the bigger stages.
